5th White Horse Branch Beer Festival November 9th and 10th
We are delighted to announce that the 5th Wantage Beer Festival will
take place from 11AM until 11PM on Friday the 9th and Saturday the 10th
of November 2012 in the Wantage Civic Hall.
As always we intend to provide 28 cask ales representing the
best of those produced both locally and from afar, including
a number of Festival Specials. In addition, we will offer four or so
local ciders and perrys.
The Festival returns to last year's successful new home,
the
Civic Hall,
Portway, Wantage, OX12 9BY -
from the main bus stop, head south from
the east end of Market square along Newbury
Street. Turn right at the set of traffic lights beside
the Royal Oak, and roughly 50 yards
(or metres if you prefer) along Portway
you will find the Civic Hall on the edge of the car park
on your right (by the word "bing" on the map, see Landmarks for more details
and drinking opportunities).
Public Transport
From/to Oxford by the
X30/31
(Stagecoach) until the early hours, from/to Didcot by the
32
(Thames Travel) until approximately 6PM. There are less frequent
services
to Faringdon, Newbury and Swindon.
